Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are and What This Covers
Deyo Creative Studio ("we," "us," "our") is a website design and branding studio in Bradenton, Florida. Deyo Creative Studio is a registered fictitious name of Fresh Content Design, LLC, a Florida limited liability company.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through DeyoCreativeStudio.com and in working with clients, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
It covers our website, our contact form, our email newsletter, and the information we collect when you become a client.
It does not cover websites we build for clients. Each client site is controlled by that client and governed by that client's own privacy policy. Section 8 explains our role when we handle information on a client's behalf.
Who we serve. We work with businesses in the United States, primarily in Bradenton, Manatee County, and the Florida Gulf Coast. Our site and services are not directed to people outside the United States.
Effective date: October 4, 2026
Last updated: October 4, 2026
2. Information You Give Us
We collect only what you choose to send us, and we use it for the purposes below and in Section 4.
Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number, best time to call, the service you're interested in, your current website address, and anything you write in the message box. We use it to call you back, answer your inquiry, and follow up.
Newsletter signup. Your name and email address. We use them to send our newsletter.
Becoming a client. Your name, business name, billing contact details, mailing address, and the materials you provide for your project, such as text, photos, logos, and brand files. We use them to do the work, invoice you, and support your site.
Email, phone, and messages. Whatever you choose to include. We use it to respond and to keep a record of our work together.
Please don't send us sensitive information. We never need Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or government ID numbers.
Payments. We invoice through Zoho Books. You may pay through Zoho, Stripe, or PayPal. You enter card and bank details directly with those processors, and their own privacy policies govern that information. We do not receive or store full card or bank account numbers, and we never enter card numbers on your behalf.
Access to your accounts. We don't ask you to email us passwords. When a project needs access to your domain, hosting, analytics, or a similar account, we ask you to add us as a user with our own login. You can remove that access at any time. If you do send us a password, we use it only for your project and recommend you change it once the work is done.
3. Information Collected Automatically
Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use our site. It collects:
pages viewed, time on page, and the path taken through the site
the site or search that referred you
device type, browser, operating system, and screen size
approximate location at the city level, derived from your IP address
a randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie, so returning visits can be recognized
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. Google processes this information as our service provider under the Google Analytics Terms of Service and its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. User-level and event-level data is kept for no longer than 14 months. Aggregated reports, which don't identify anyone, may be kept longer.
Hosting and forms. Our site is hosted on Framer, which also processes contact form submissions and delivers them to our email. Framer's servers process standard request data, including IP address, to deliver the site and protect against abuse. Framer's privacy policy governs that processing.
Embedded widgets. Some pages may display content from third-party providers, such as a reviews widget from Elfsight. When a page with a widget loads, that provider may receive your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy.
Advertising and measurement. We may advertise our own services on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, and LinkedIn. To measure whether our ads work, and to show ads to people who have visited our site or interacted with us, we may use tools such as the Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, and similar technologies. These tools let the platforms collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed, whether you submitted a form, device and browser details, and cookie identifiers. They may connect it with information they already hold about you, under their own privacy policies.
Advertising audiences. We may also share contact information we hold, such as your email address or phone number, with advertising platforms. We share it in hashed (scrambled) form so the platforms can match it to their users. We use this to show ads to people who already know us, to reach people with similar interests, and to keep existing clients from seeing ads meant for new ones. You can ask us to leave you out of these audiences (see Section 10).
Cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies beginning with _ga. Advertising tools and widgets, when present, set their own cookies, such as _fbp for the Meta Pixel. These contain identifiers, not your name or email. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Our site does not currently change how it behaves in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. You can limit analytics and advertising tracking using the options in Section 10.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
respond to your inquiry by phone (see Section 5) and email
prepare proposals, estimates, and statements of work
perform our services, including building, supporting, and hosting your site
invoice you and process payment
send our newsletter and marketing emails (see Section 6)
keep records of our work, invoices, and communications
understand which pages and articles are useful, so we can improve the site
run, target, and measure our advertising (see Section 3)
detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
comply with the law and enforce our Terms and Conditions
What we don't do. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent or trade our contact lists to other businesses. We share information with advertising platforms only as described in Section 3.
Automated decisions. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
5. Phone Calls
When you submit our contact form with your phone number, you are asking us to call you about your inquiry. We will call you at that number, at the time you picked if possible.
We make these calls by hand. We do not use autodialers, prerecorded messages, or automated text messages.
How to stop calls. Tell us on any call, or email admin@deyocreativestudio.com, and we will stop calling you. We honor the request when we receive it and keep a record so a later form submission doesn't override it.
6. Email and Our Newsletter
Our newsletter and marketing emails. You can sign up for our newsletter on our site. If you contact us or work with us, we may also send you occasional emails about our services, resources, and offers. Our marketing emails are sent through providers such as MailerLite and Salesmate. Every one includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address, and we honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
Inquiry follow-up. If you contact us about a project, we may follow up by email about working together.
Client emails. While you are a client, we will email you about your project, invoices, and site. These messages are part of the service and are not marketing.
7. How We Share Information
We share personal information only in the situations below.
Service providers. These companies perform functions for us and may use your information only to provide their services to us:

Google Analytics 4
Website usage analytics

Advertising platforms. When we run ads, platforms such as Meta, Google, and LinkedIn receive information as described in Section 3. Unlike our service providers, these platforms also use that information under their own privacy policies.
Contractors. If we bring in a contractor to help with a project, they receive only the information needed for that work and must keep it confidential.
Professional advisors. Our accountant, bookkeeper, and attorney, when needed and under a duty of confidentiality.
Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process. We also share information when we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect our rights, investigate fraud, or respond to a threat to someone's safety. Where we are allowed to tell you, we will.
Business transfer. If the studio is sold, merged, or its assets are transferred, client and contact information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will post notice on this site before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
At your direction. When you ask us to connect your site to a third-party service, or to share information with someone acting for you.
8. Information We Handle for Our Clients
Two different roles. For information about you collected on our own site, we decide what is collected and why, and this policy governs.
When we build or support a website for a client, that client's site collects information from its own visitors and customers. The client decides what is collected and why, and we act only on the client's instructions. In that role we are a service provider, and the client's privacy policy governs, not this one.
If you visit a site we built. Contact that business directly about your information. We cannot grant access, correction, or deletion requests for data we hold only on another business's behalf. If you send us such a request, we will forward it to that business and let you know we did.
If you are our client. You are responsible for:
publishing your own privacy policy and any required cookie or consent notice on your site
having a lawful basis for the information your site collects
responding to privacy requests from your own visitors and customers
telling us if your site will collect anything sensitive, such as health information, financial account data, biometric data, or information from children, because that may change what we can build and how it must be set up
We do not provide legal advice about your compliance obligations, and we do not write your privacy policy as part of a standard project.
Our commitments in that role. When we handle information on your behalf, we will use it only to perform our services and follow your instructions. We will keep it confidential, protect it with reasonable security, and never sell it or use it for our own purposes. When the engagement ends, we will return or delete it on request, subject to our record-keeping obligations.
Security incidents. If we learn of a security incident affecting information we hold on your behalf, we will notify you without undue delay and cooperate in your response. You are responsible for any notice the law requires you to give your own customers, including under Section 501.171, Florida Statutes.
9. How Long We Keep Information and How We Protect It
Retention.
Information
How long we keep it
Inquiries that don't become projects
Up to 24 months after our last contact
Client contracts, project records, and invoices
7 years after the engagement ends, for tax and legal purposes
Newsletter subscription
Until you unsubscribe, plus a record so we don't re-add you
Do-not-call and do-not-email requests
As long as needed to keep honoring them
Google Analytics user and event data
No longer than 14 months
Passwords you send us
Deleted within 30 days after the work they were needed for
We delete or anonymize information when we no longer have a business or legal reason to keep it.
Security. We limit access to personal information to the people who need it to do the work. We use established service providers that maintain their own security programs, and we do not keep payment card or bank account numbers.
No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where information is held. We operate from Florida, and our team and service providers are located in the United States.
10. Your Choices and Rights
What you can ask us for, wherever you live:
Access: a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Correction: fixing anything inaccurate
Deletion: removing your information, except what we must keep for tax, accounting, contract, or legal reasons, and the records that let us honor your own opt-outs
Opt out of marketing: unsubscribe from the newsletter or promotional emails, or ask us to stop calling
A portable copy: your information in a format you can take elsewhere
How to make a request. Email admin@deyocreativestudio.com with what you want, and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, usually by confirming you control the email address or phone number in our records. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.
Limiting analytics and ads. You can block Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. You can control the ads you see in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences, in Google's My Ad Center, and through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info. To keep your contact information out of the advertising audiences described in Section 3, email admin@deyocreativestudio.com and we will exclude it.
State privacy laws. Florida's Digital Bill of Rights and similar laws in states such as California, Virginia, and Colorado apply only to businesses above certain size or data-volume thresholds. We are well below them. We honor the requests above as a matter of practice, not because those laws require it.
If we decline a request, we will tell you why in writing and explain what you can do next. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Florida Attorney General's office.
11. Children, Other Sites, and Changes
Children. Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and our forms and newsletter are not intended for anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email admin@deyocreativestudio.com and we will delete it.
Links to other sites. Our blog links to research, tools, and other businesses. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Client sites in our portfolio. Sites we built are run by independent businesses, each with its own privacy policy.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. We will post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects information we already hold about you, we will give notice by email or a prominent notice on the site before it takes effect.
